The bridging aid IV can be applied for from today, January 7th, 2022 via an examining third party.
The restart help for Q1-2022 cannot be applied for yet. Neither directly nor through the testing third party.
Changes in the ÜH IV compared to the ÜH3plus are described on the BMWI website as follows (most important point for the event industry):
- Funding period: January 1 to March 31, 2022.
- Easier access to equity grant.
- Maximum subsidy rate: if sales drop by more than 70 percent, the maximum subsidy rate drops to a maximum of 90 percent (previously 100 percent) of the fixed costs.
- Adaptation of the industry-specific special regulations:
- The events and culture industry can claim cancellation and preparation costs for business activities in the period September to December 2021. The start-up aid (20 percent of the wage bill in the respective reference month 2019) will be continued.
- Companies in the pyrotechnics industry that suffered a drop in sales of at least 80 percent in December 2021 compared to December 2019 can apply for bridging aid IV. Storage and transport costs as well as cancellation costs can also be charged for this period.
- Private operators of Christmas markets, showmen and market traders who were affected by the cancellation of the Advent and Christmas markets in 2021 will receive an increased equity surcharge.
- NO digitization funding
- Additional application eligibility for
- Companies that close voluntarily due to inefficiency due to Corona rules in the period from January 1st to 31st, 2022.
- Young companies incorporated by September 30, 2021 (was October 31, 2020).
