The #ForumEvents Management met yesterday Monday morning with Thomas Hacker, member of the Bundestag, FDP. Mr. Hacker is a member of the Committee for Culture and Media in the Bundestag.
The exchange, which can now be described as regular, dealt with many topics that move the events industry. It was about the Kulturfonds Energie that had just been launched, which, with the exclusion of festivals, trade fairs and other formats, was designed past a large part of the economic sector. It was also about the still hesitant ticket sales and new challenges from sales platforms such as Dice FM Ltd. and withholding taxes. In addition, the still existing problems with the accounts of the aid of the federal and state governments were discussed; the shortage of skilled workers and the topic of bogus self-employment were addressed. Mr. Hacker takes the points of the six associations of the event management forum into the discussions in the committees of the Bundestag and his party.
