The traffic light is on.

At today's press conference of the coalition partners it was announced that the governing coalition has been decided. Now the committees of the parties still have to agree and then we will have a government that is capable of functioning.
We searched the coalition agreement directly for a few keywords:
Organizer: 0
Event: 3x (1x federal events, 2x major sporting events)
concert: 0
Tour: 0
Fair: 0
Self-employed: 3x (self-employed and status determination, insurance for self-employed, digital platforms)
Solo self-employed: 2x (social situation in art and culture, Corona financing of living expenses)
Work contracts: 1

The ISDV has campaigned for the self-employed, but above all the status determination procedure, to be included in the coalition agreement. We have succeeded.
The self-employed have their own paragraph in this context. With vague formulations, but we can continue to work based on that.
Legal certainty must now be achieved! Work contracts are mentioned as “necessary instruments”. We will continue to fight for this together with the associations in the federal working group of self-employed associations BAGSV.
We very much welcome “that contributions to statutory health insurance above
of the mini-job limit can only be raised strictly on an income basis". Our colleagues from VGSD, BDÜ and BDD fought for this for a long time. This marks the end of the fictitious income. Chapeau!
Unfortunately, the events industry is not explicitly mentioned. But that shouldn't put us down. It spurs us on to continue the intensive dialogue that has been going on up to now. And with the event management forum, we are on the right track.
As we learned today in a conversation with the Greens, this coalition partner is interested. That sure is good.
Now it's time to look at the details and prepare for the first technical talks, which are already in the offing.
