On April 13, 2021, ZÄHL DAZU, the largest study that has ever existed within the German events industry, will start. From March 1st, the industry-wide survey will be accompanied by an extensive crowdfunding campaign to finance the project. The initiator is the event industry interest group, which collects, processes and then publishes the figures with scientific support from Chemnitz University of Technology. On the one hand, the results serve as a basis for further political negotiations and, on the other hand, they allow the development of forward-looking strategies for the entire economic sector, nationally and within the European Union. Nicole Behr represents the supporting members on the board of the IGVW and will present this project to us in more detail in an interview with Markus Wilmsmann from mothergrid.
