PM - No idea how to proceed

I have no idea how to proceed...
Prime Minister and Federal Government decide: NOTHING!

Frankfurt, June 11, 2021 - At yesterday's Prime Ministers' Conference (MPK), those responsible agreed on one point: A decision to establish uniform nationwide framework conditions for events and a long-overdue opening perspective is neither urgent nor necessary. In doing so, all those involved have made it clear that for them the personal encounter of people at events is at the very end of the series of opening steps.
The decision on transparent framework conditions for major events was postponed again. What you have to know about this is that events with more than 1000 people are already considered so-called major events. "Government action must be proportionate and understandable for the citizen," says Prof. Jens Michow, President of the Federal Association of the Concert and Event Industry. "If this requirement is not met, the state acts illegally and makes itself vulnerable".
The organizers have offered to only allow the three Gs, i.e. vaccinated, tested and recovered, to visit concerts, conferences and other events. “This would make events even more infection-proof than any department store or public transport. The industry could thus contribute to people being tested who otherwise see no reason to do so," says Timo Feuerbach, Managing Director of the EVVC. However, no comment has been received on this offer.

The events industry has been calling for clear, nationwide legal framework conditions for months. This is the only way events would finally be possible and plannable again. Approval could be given taking into account possible hazards and appropriate protective measures. This would make the requirements for holding events clear for everyone involved and events could also be held without distance rules. The event management forum presented a corresponding approval matrix in February 2021.
Unfortunately, the prime ministers and the federal government decided in yesterday's prime ministers' conference not to make any decisions at all. The development of solutions was delegated to the state chancellery of the federal states, although these decisions could easily have been made in the last few months. They endanger the future of the events industry, millions of jobs and also trigger an unnecessary fundamental discussion on the suitability of "federalism" in times of crisis. “It cannot be that the sixth largest industry with its tens of thousands of small and large companies has to take a back seat. After well over a year of lockdown, those responsible should be aware of the urgency for a real perspective. Events sometimes have very long lead times. We therefore need reliable guidelines now in order to get out of the crisis successfully," says Marcus Pohl, board member of the ISDV eV

The event management forum is the alliance of six leading associations in the economic sector: the BDKV (Federal Association of the Concert and Event Management eV), the EVVC (European Association of Event Centers eV), the FAMA (Association of Trade Fairs and Exhibitions eV), the ISDV (interest group the independent service providers in the event industry eV), the LIVEKOMM (Association of Music Venues in Germany eV) and the VPLT (The Association for Media and Event Technology eV). The aim of the alliance is to bundle networks, competencies and resources in order to be even more powerful with this and through a joint appearance in political lobbying.

The merger of the main sectors of the event industry expressly does not see itself as an umbrella organization. Each partner continues to directly represent the specific interests of its members. However, the intersections of the political expectations of the various sectors, such as the organizers of culture, trade fairs, congresses and conferences, event locations, event service providers as well as manufacturers and dealers of event technology, are large and all sub-sectors are closely interlinked . Therefore, the close ranks of the associations will significantly increase the perception of the economic sector by politicians and the public.
