In a meeting of the BAGSV (Federal Working Group of Self-Employed Associations) with State Secretary Leonie Gebers (BMAS), the ISDV again emphasized the urgency of a sustainable clarification of the burning questions of social security for the group of self-employed people, who were economically hard hit by the pandemic, as well as the ongoing legal uncertainty caused by the status determination procedure of the DRV.
We see it as a positive sign that four BMAS department heads were present. The underlined high need for discussion on the part of the professional associations was acknowledged with an open outcome. Further talks will follow.
