ISDV on site:
The fourth meeting of the BMAS committee on the obligation to provide for old age for the self-employed took place today.
The last topics to be discussed were not so easy again. We spoke out in favor of an end to the active checking of the status of a worker when everyone is covered by a mandatory pension scheme. The status determination procedure should only exist for those who are forced into self-employment by their employers.
We are also of the opinion that it must be possible to switch between coverage in the GRV and an opt-out product without causing a break in the insurance period. Of course, this can only happen with waiting times for certain statutory pension benefits, such as reduced earning capacity.
We are now curious to see how the draft law of the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs on old-age provision for the self-employed will turn out. December/January will be the time.#BAGSV #independence #isdv
