BAGSV meeting in Berlin.
The federal working group of self-employed associations met for the second time today in the Axica congress and conference center on Pariser Platz.
In addition to 28 association representatives, we had Mr. Peter Weiss, MdB, spokesman for the Working Group on Work and Social Affairs of the CDU, as a guest today on the subject of old-age provision for the self-employed. The conversation was very good. The CDU has its own ideas, but also a large overlap with ideas that we represent. In October there should be anotherthere is a small group discussion. This is to be rated as positive.
Another speaker was lawyer Markus Keubke. He represented the honorary physicians before the Federal Social Court in Kassel. His report on this procedure, the way in which the verdict was reached and the possible effects of the verdict on all self-employed persons clearly showed that new criteria will not be enough to change something. Everything has been turned upside down here. A change in the law is needed. That's becoming clearer and clearer.
We have completed the project "Typing of self-employment". Some insights can be filtered out here that we can use well in our talks with politicians.
All in all, a very efficient, fruitful and good meeting of the BAGSV.
Thanks to everyone involved.
