Yesterday, Wednesday, October 20th, 2021, a 4.5-hour board meeting of the IGVW took place. The managing director of the IGVW, Sacha Ritter, reported on the status of the development of various standards of quality (SQ) that are being processed. In addition to many others, the SQQ2 event rigging is currently being revised and the SQQ7 professional specialist: in sound is being finalized. In total there are 58 active teams with 238 volunteers.
The training offensives Next-Gen (www.nx-gen.de) and 100per (www.100pro.org) topic of the session. The current shortage of skilled workers and the decline in trainees will keep the events industry busy for a long time to come.
This year's general meeting with new board elections will take place on November 17th, 2021. The ISDV will continue to be strongly involved in the IGVW, since this merger of meanwhile twenty associations and organizations makes a very important contribution to the functioning of our economic sector.
