From March 1st, the industry-wide survey will be accompanied by an extensive crowdfunding campaign to finance the project. The initiator is the event industry interest group, which collects, processes and then publishes the figures with scientific support from Chemnitz University of Technology. On the one hand, the results serve as a basis for further political negotiations and, on the other hand, they allow the development of forward-looking strategies for the entire economic sector, nationally and within the European Union.
