The BAGSV social and economic dialogue was continued. This time the head of the social security and old age security department, Mr. Thomas Kaulish, was with us in the video conference.<\/p>\n
22 association representatives were present and asked their questions.<\/p>\n
Of course, the innovations in the status determination procedure were a big topic. Mr. Kaulish was able to clarify what the changes mean and what considerations they are based on. In return, we associations presented what these changes, which are primarily intended to reduce bureaucracy and to speed up the procedure for determining status according to \u00a77a SGB IV, actually do in our worlds of the most diverse self-employment.<\/p>\n
It quickly became clear that there was a certain discrepancy.<\/p>\n
Nevertheless, our statements and arguments met with open ears. Mr. Kaulisch, who took over the management of the department last year as the successor to Dr Flecken, who retired, is in any case willing to continue working with us on solutions to the problems of the self-employed. We're happy to take part. The next meeting will take place on 06\/10\/21. This time at the invitation of the BMAS to continue the talks from 2019 on the obligation to provide for old age for the self-employed.<\/p>\n
